Prateeksha is a Licensed Associate Counselor currently pursuing her PsyD in Counseling Psychology at Saint Elizabeth University. She received a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kutztown University. Throughout her training, Prateeksha has worked in various locations such as hospitals, non-profit organizations, and private practices.
She specializes in working with young adults and adults, treating many clinical concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, mood disorders, and grief.
Prateeksha considers how culture, among other factors, influences psychopathology and caters treatment needs specifically for each client. Lastly, Prateeksha is interested in sport psychology and how self-awareness, resilience, mindset, and interpersonal relationships can affect athletes’ wellbeing.
