1: Make Your Profile
Go to MapMyFitness.com and click “Sign Up With Email” in the center of the page (orange button). Fill out the 6 basic fields and click “Create My Account.” Thats it! Next:
2: Join Our Group
Once logged in, hover your mouse over “Discover” along the top blue bar and click “Groups” - the sixth option that drops down. Midway down the page, enter “Inspire Wellness Solutions” in the “Search” bar. Once you find our group, click “Join Group” and you’re all set!
3: Explore & Try Our Routes
Midway down our Group’s page on the left, click “Routes” to see our favorite walking, running, and biking routes around town. Many will start right from your office’s door and can easily be done over a lunch break. You can also click on “Live” to see what routes other group members are doing right this second! If you would like routes in other areas just ask, or add routes yourself using the “Create Route” button under the “My Home” drop down menu at the top. If you are traveling, or your city isn’t featured yet in our group’s routes, you can search MapMyFitness for other user’s favorites from anywhere in the world.
4: Get the App, Go Mobile
You can download the MapMyRun, MapMyRide, or MapMyFitness apps to Android or iOS devices for routes on-the-go. The location features on your phone enable you to track your distance, pace, and elevation as you go, creating your own unique route or tracking you as you complete one of the group’s preexisting routes. Inspire Wellness now has a Group Page on MapMyFitness.com. This service will provide walking, jogging, and biking trails for group members, whether you are in State College or any city around the world! Members can also create their own routes, explore potential routes, and compete with other members for time, distance, and participation frequency.
